Martin Soberano (Mexico)
Martin Soberano is a veterinary oncologist with more than 30 years of clinical experience and a pioneer of veterinary oncology throughout Latin America. Founder of the Latin American Veterinary Oncology Society (SLOVET) and General Coordinator of the Latin American Veterinary Oncology Certification (CLATOV), he has dedicated his career to advancing oncology education and clinical practice.
Kat Littlewood (New Zealand)
Dr Kat Littlewood is New Zealand’s only Registered Veterinary Specialist in Animal Welfare Science, Ethics and Law. Internationally recognised for her work on the Five Domains Model, she focuses on helping veterinarians and caregivers make informed, compassionate decisions that improve animal welfare. She serves on the WSAVA Animal Welfare Committee and the New Zealand National Animal Welfare Advisory Committee, which advises the government on animal welfare legislation.
Alexandru Vitalaru (Romania)
Professor Bogdan Alexandru Vițălaru is an internationally respected expert in veterinary nephrology, emergency medicine, and urology. A pioneer of veterinary nephrology in Eastern Europe, he founded the first veterinary hemodialysis clinic in Romania, later developing the Hemodialivet concept and the Romanian Society of Veterinary Nephrology, where he serves as President. He has authored over 200 scientific papers and 10 books, including a widely recognized textbook on peritoneal dialysis in companion animals.
Fergus Allerton (United Kingdom)
Fergus Allerton graduated from the University of Bristol in 2004 and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Liege, Belgium. He is a diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Medicine and currently works at Willows Referral Service. Fergus is actively involved in veterinary antibiotic stewardship and contributed to the development of the PROTECT ME guidelines and ENOVAT recommendations for antibiotic use for surgical prophylaxis and canine acute diarrhoea. He is the current editor of Companion and the BSAVA formulary, a member of the WSAVA Therapeutic Guidelines Group and clinical medicine lead for RCVS Knowledge.
Ron Ofri (Israel)
Professor Ron Ofri is Professor of Veterinary Ophthalmology at the Koret School of Veterinary Medicine, Hebrew University of Jerusalem. An internationally recognised speaker and Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Ophthalmology, he has lectured in more than 40 countries and authored over 120 scientific publications.
